Jake is a Producer, Actor, Show Caller, Stage Manager, Writer, lighting designer, and social media manager. For film he is an Assistant Director and Sound Recordist. He is currently studying an MA in Producing at The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama. He co-hosts the Maybe You Like It podcast.
Caleb is a writer, director, poet, and occasional actor. He was the vice-president of the Corpus Christi Owlets and he is a co-founder of Maybe You Like It. He wrote and directed Redacted Arachnid and Pleading Stupidity and he co-hosts The Maybe You Like It Podcast with Jake. He very briefly considered trying stand-up but thought better of it.
Will is a lighting designer based in Oxford. He began his work in 2018 whilst at University, and he has worked on a number of Maybe You Like It’s productions, acting as lighting designer for Confusions (2018, Burton Taylor Studio), Redacted Arachnid (2019, Burton Taylor Studio, C Aquila Temple - Edinburgh Fringe), and Pleading Stupidity (2020, Burton Taylor Studio). Lauren Komer is a senior at Brandeis University majoring in Theatre Arts. Recent credits include Anton Pavlovich’s Garden Club (Director, Freeplay Theatre Cooperative), The Laramie Project (Assistant Director, Brandeis University), The Picture of Dorian Gray (Director, University of Oxford), Pleading Stupidity (Assistant Director, Burton Taylor Studio), Measure for Measure (Set Designer, Burton Taylor Studio), 5 Kinds of Silence (Director, Brandeis University), Talking With…(Director, Freeplay Theatre Co.), A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Assistant Director, Hold Thy Peace), Blithe Spirit (Assistant Director, UTC). Actor and Deviser
James is an actor and Maybe You Like It groupie. He was in both Redacted Arachnid and Pleading Stupidity with the company, as well as a host of other Oxford productions. He’s currently working on a devised project and trying to persuade himself to start writing. He’s good at whistling and bad at writing artist bios.
Writer, Actor, and Filmmaker
Harrison is based in New York City and Oxford. She is currently pursuing an MSt in film aesthetics at the University of Oxford. With MYLI, she appeared in both runs of Redacted Arachnid and co-hosts the new podcast Do Try This At Home with Caleb. She has created material for and/or performed with the Columbia Federalist, MidWave Magazine, Third Wheel Improv, and Chowdah Sketch Comedy. She is the creator and former co-host of Writer’s Unblock, an interview radio program which ran for 8 seasons on WBAR. In 2020, she produced her first documentary short, Here Comes the Flood. Her first full-length theatrical comedy, Nice Guys Finish Last was a second-round selection at the Austin Film Festival in 2019.
Django is a multimedia storyteller and participatory arts practitioner working in any creative medium he can. He also drew the Maybe You Like It logo!
Maggie has had the privilege to work with MYLI twice; taking on the role of Assistant Director for ‘Pleading Stupidity’ and playing Mrs Banger in their radio adaptation of Bernard Shaw’s Press Cuttings. Other credits include co-writing and performing in ‘What Makes You a Woman’ at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, and being selected to work with Complicité Theatre company as part of their young person’s outreach programme. Other Theatre credits at include, ‘Merrily We Roll Along’ at the Oxford Playhouse, 00production’s production of The Last Five Years as Cathy Hiatt, and King Richard in Richard II. She has also been a part of a new devising ensemble over lockdown, Inlimbo.
Harvey is a production manager, lighting designer and producer. He is president of TAFF, treasurer of the New College Drama Society, and co-founder of 00Productions. Gregor is an actor, director and runner who appeared in Pleading Stupidity and as a guest on The Maybe You Like It podcast. He is a co-founder of Deballify Productions, directing Frost/Nixon and is currently doing some devising with the InLimbo ensemble and rehearsing for his first zoom play, Simulacrum.
Actor and Cinematographer
Josh is an actor and cinematographer-to-be currently studying at the University of Oxford. He has performed in a number of plays and musicals at Oxford including Maybe You Like It’s production Redacted Arachnid which he also performed with at the Edinburgh Fringe and Merrily We Roll Along which was performed at the Oxford Playhouse. He is currently involved in filming and editing a version of Twelfth Night which will be released at the end of the year as well as co-hosting, editing and producing for his shared YouTube channel The Average Blokes Show found at www.averageblokes.com.
Actor and Improvisor
Rob is an actor and improviser currently attending The University of Edinburgh where he studies English Literature. He performs regularly as part of the Edinburgh University Theatre Company, The Edinburgh University Savoy Opera Group and is currently the director of The Improverts. Rob is also a singer, performing in musical theatre and as part of the Edinburgh University Singers.
